The app is available to anyone with a mobile device that supports iOS (6.0 and later) 's operating system.
National Land Service (VZD) developed a fast and convenient free mobile app for kadastrs.lv. It is useful for both existing and future real estate owners, professionals and VZD clients, as well as for anyone who needs data from the Cadastre Information System or the State Address Register. With the application, you can obtain information about any real estate, land unit, building or apartment, search for an existing or former address, browse through different cards at the disposal of the VZD, and browse through the execution of your orders and contact the customer counselling centre.
Three usage languages are available for the application - Latvian, English, Russian.
The following data is available on the mobile application and updated:
- cadastre text and spatial data - once daily;
– the text and spatial data of the national address register, once daily;
– value zoning, once every four years with changes in estate values zoning;
– topographic plan M1: 500 – 1-2 weeks;
- maps maintained by the Latvian Geospatial Information Agency, as a background for the spatial data of the VZD (Ortophoto Map, Topographical Map M1: 2000, Topographical Map M1: 10000, Topographical Map M1: 50000) - The portal publishes the most up-to-date background materials at the disposal of the VZD.

Application Setup You can set up an app for mobile phones and tablets.
According to your mobile device, follow the steps you need to download and install a mobile app. Your device needs an Internet connection to set it up and use it.
Apply Application Once the app is installed on your mobile device, it is ready for use. At the beginning of its use, four steps are taken:
1. Select to allow or not to activate the positioning methods selected on your device in order to obtain your location data. You can adjust this function at any time in your mobile device settings.
Option 2 to choose the application language that can be changed later in the settings.
3. familiarity with a short, three-step guide on the basic features of the application;
4. get acquainted and confirm that you agree with the application usage rules. If you choose not to agree to the terms of use, then you will not be able to use mobile app services.
